Borla exhaust with quad dual oval tips C6 Corvette In responding to requests from our customers, BORLA announces a new Touring Line for the Corvette C6 incorporating the great BORLA race-bred straight through flow with a less aggressive, mellow, but powerful sound. The performance matches the famous BORLA systems of the past, but use of unique muffler and exhaust configuration cancel additional high frequency sound waves. The accumulation of this system is a powerful sound that isn’t offensive. Part #140129 is a true dual system employing the famous BORLA “S” Style race oversized straight through mufflers that feed two 5” round, rolled edge, angle cut tips on each outlet. The BORLA #140129 system is lighter than the factory system and includes the famous BORLA X- pipe (also sold separately as part #60089) after the factory cats. In addition to the quad round-tip system, BORLA also offer both a quad oval-tip system (#140131) and a dual rectangular-tip system (#140133). All three systems shout American V8 here and can't help but be noticed.
BORLA® offers a variety of options for the C5, C6 and Z06. Choose from several tip styles and muffler designs. Cat-Backs™ and Rear Sections are available with either the highly popular “S-Type” muffler or the “Touring” muffler. The “S-Type” is a smaller, round muffler with a center-in/center-out configuration giving a more aggressive sound and higher flow. For those who prefer it on the milder side, we have the “Touring” muffler -- a larger case producing less aggressive sound. Some come with an assortment of tip designs.
